No Place Gets Two Nominations At TBUFF

Best Florida Feature and Best Supporting Actress (Hayley Castillo)

It’s difficult to find a film more relevant and topical in this country today than “No Place in this World,” Brad Castillo’s thought-provoking feature drama from the Bay Area’s Citrus County. Framed around a story of two middle school sisters who are new at school and trying to survive a bad situation in a disconnected, self-centered world, the film explores the issue from every angle, including what pushes a person into attacking, degrading and abusing other people.

On the surface, “No Place in this World” may not seem like the type of film you expect to find at a typical “underground” film festival, but besides TBUFF being far from typical, many filmmakers and other artists have a great deal of experience with bully culture and might see younger versions of themselves in the film.

One of the most high profile films at TBUFF 2017, “No Place in this World’s” film festival premiere is on, Saturday 12/2 at 2PM.

The award ceremony will begin at 8:00pm on, Saturday 12/2.
